  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and mashed bananas until combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
