Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Quaker® Old Fashioned Oats or Instant Oats
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup milk of choice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil or melted coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe mug, combine oats, cocoa powder, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
- If desired, stir in chocolate chips.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds to 2 minutes, or until the cake is set and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before eating. Enjoy straight from the mug!
