Description

Churro Cheesecake Deep Fried Oreos combine the rich, creamy flavor of cheesecake with the cinnamon-sugar goodness of churros, all wrapped around a crispy, deep-fried Oreo cookie. This indulgent treat is perfect for parties, dessert tables, or any occasion where you want to wow your guests with something decadent.

Ingredients

1 package of Oreo cookies

1 package cream cheese (softened)

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup milk

1 large egg

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup granulated sugar

Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Use a spoon to gently create a small hole in the center of each Oreo cookie and fill it with the cream cheese mixture, carefully sealing the cookie back together. Repeat with all Oreos.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and milk to create a smooth batter.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Dip each stuffed Oreo into the batter, coating it completely. Gently drop the battered Oreos into the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the deep-fried Oreos from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together. Roll each fried Oreo in the cinnamon-sugar mixture while still warm.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  1. For an extra layer of chocolatey flavor, add a dollop of Nutella to the cream cheese filling.
  2. Use a chocolate batter for a richer taste.
  3. Try topping with melted chocolate or caramel sauce for extra indulgence.
  4. Experiment with strawberry or raspberry jam for a fruity twist in the Oreo filling.
  5. Best enjoyed immediately, but leftovers can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days.
