Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 apple, chopped
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- Toppings: nut butter, chopped nuts, granola, or extra apple slices (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring almond milk to a boil.
- Add rolled oats and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until creamy.
- While oats are cooking, heat coconut oil in a small pan over medium heat.
- Add chopped apples and cinnamon. Sauté for about 5 minutes until apples are soft and fragrant.
