Ingredients
- 2 cans cinnamon rolls (8 count each)
- 5 large apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- Caramel sauce (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Press cinnamon rolls into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish to form a crust layer. Bake for 10 minutes and remove from oven.
- In a large skillet, cook chopped apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice over medium heat until tender (about 10 minutes). Let cool.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the cinnamon roll crust.
- Top with half of the apple mixture.
- Repeat layers with remaining cream cheese mixture and apples.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
