Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until smooth.
  3. Add in egg and mix until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Slowly mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until fully combined.
  6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Use a fork to gently press down each ball, creating a crisscross pattern.
  8. Bake for 8–10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
