Description

Cookie Dough Cheesecake Stuffed Churros combine the crispy, cinnamon-sugar-coated exterior of classic churros with a rich, indulgent cookie dough and cheesecake filling — a next-level dessert mashup.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Oil, for frying
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup edible cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, sugar, salt, and oil. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and stir in flour until mixture forms a ball.
  2. Let dough cool slightly, then transfer to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in edible cookie dough. Chill until ready to use.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Pipe strips of dough directly into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  6. Mix cinnamon and sugar in a shallow dish and roll warm churros in the mixture until coated.
  7. Using a skewer or piping tip, create a hollow center in each churro.
  8. Transfer cheesecake cookie dough filling to a piping bag and fill each churro through the hollow center.
  9. Serve warm or chilled for a creamy, crunchy dessert experience.

Notes

  • Make sure churros are cooled slightly before stuffing to avoid melting the filling.
  • You can use a store-bought edible cookie dough or make your own with heat-treated flour.
  • Best served the same day for optimal texture.
  • Dust with extra powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate for added flair.
