Description

A smoky, tangy ranch-style seasoning blend packed with herbs and spices. Perfect for dressings, dips, marinades, snacks, and adding bold flavor to everyday dishes.

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup dry powdered buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
  • 2 teaspoons dried dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard
  • ½ teaspoon cumin

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered buttermilk, parsley, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, onion flakes, dill weed, brown sugar, kosher salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, ground mustard, and cumin until evenly combined.
  2. If a finer texture is desired, pulse the mixture briefly in a food processor until it reaches the preferred consistency.
  3. Transfer the seasoning blend to an airtight container.
  4. Store in a cool, dry place for up to 3 months.

Notes

  • For ranch dressing or dip, mix 2 tablespoons seasoning with 1 cup mayonnaise, ½ cup sour cream, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, and ¼ teaspoon liquid smoke. Add 1–2 tablespoons milk to reach desired consistency.
  • Use as a dry rub for meats like chicken or beef, or mix with oil to create a marinade.
  • Sprinkle over popcorn, roasted nuts, or homemade potato chips for a flavorful snack.
  • Toss with vegetables such as carrots, cauliflower, or broccoli before roasting.
  • Add a pinch to scrambled eggs or mix into mashed or roasted potatoes.
  • Store the seasoning in an airtight glass container to reduce air exposure and maintain freshness.
