Description

These crack burgers are juicy, cheesy, and loaded with ranch-inspired flavor, crispy bacon, and melty cheddar. Perfect for cookouts, family dinners, or an irresistible weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices crispy bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or burger sauce
  • Lettuce leaves (optional)
  • Tomato slices (optional)
  • Onion slices (optional)
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ranch seasoning mix, shredded cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon. Mix until just combined—avoid overmixing.
  2. Divide and shape the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface.
  4. Cook the patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  5. Toast the hamburger buns lightly on the grill or skillet.
  6. Spread mayonnaise or burger sauce on the buns. Add lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles if desired.
  7. Place the cooked patties on the buns, adding extra cheese or bacon if preferred.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • Swap cheddar for pepper jack, Swiss, or provolone cheese.
  • Add jalapeños or hot sauce for extra spice.
  • Try brioche buns for richness or lettuce wraps for a low-carb option.
  • Store leftover patties in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
