Description

Crack Chicken Casserole is a creamy, savory, and mouthwatering dish made with chicken, cheese, bacon, ranch seasoning, and cream cheese, perfect for a cozy dinner or feeding a crowd.


Ingredients

4 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup ranch dressing

1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

1/2 cup green onions, chopped (optional)

2 cups frozen hashbrowns or tater tots (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream cheese, ranch dressing, ranch seasoning mix, shredded cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon. Stir until well combined.
  3. If using hashbrowns or tater tots, fold them into the mixture now.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  7. Once baked, sprinkle chopped green onions on top if desired, and serve hot.
