Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup hazelnuts
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder (or cocoa powder)
  • 2 to 3 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a high-speed blender, combine the hazelnuts and water. Blend until smooth to create a hazelnut milk base.
  2. Add the cacao powder, dates, vanilla extract, sea salt, and ice cubes to the blender.
  3. Blend again until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding another date.
