Description

This Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a rich and flavorful dish made with tender pan-seared chicken breasts smothered in a decadent garlic parmesan cream sauce. It’s a comforting and easy one-pan recipe perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced in half lengthwise
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy/whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise to make four thinner cutlets. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through. Transfer chicken to a plate and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet, then stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for about 4-5 minutes to reduce slightly.
  5. Add the heavy cream and parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens and the cheese melts completely.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over it. Simmer for another couple of minutes to heat through.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.
