Description

This creamy jalapeño dip is a zesty, flavorful appetizer made with jalapeños, sour cream, mayonnaise, and a blend of seasonings. Perfect for parties, game days, or anytime you need a quick and delicious dip.

Ingredients

  • 34 jalapeños, stems removed (remove seeds for less heat)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Remove the stems (and optionally the seeds) from the jalapeños.
  2. Place all ingredients—jalapeños, sour cream, mayonnaise, cilantro, buttermilk, ranch seasoning, garlic, onion powder, and salt—into a blender or food processor.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to let the flavors meld.
  6. Serve chilled with chips, veggies, or as a topping for tacos and more.

Notes

  • Remove seeds from jalapeños for a milder dip.
  • Let the dip chill before serving to enhance flavor.
  • Great as a dressing, taco topping, or veggie dip.
