Ingredients
- 3–4 jalapeños, stems removed (remove seeds for less heat)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Remove the stems (and optionally the seeds) from the jalapeños.
- Place all ingredients—jalapeños, sour cream, mayonnaise, cilantro, buttermilk, ranch seasoning, garlic, onion powder, and salt—into a blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to let the flavors meld.
- Serve chilled with chips, veggies, or as a topping for tacos and more.
