Ingredients
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup reserved pasta water
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water, then drain.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
- Add crumbled feta cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
- Toss the cooked linguine into the skillet and mix until well coated. Add reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
