Description

This creamy mixed fruit bowl is a refreshing and healthy dessert made with a blend of seasonal fruits, custard, and cream. It’s perfect for hot days and festive occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple (chopped)
  • 1 cup banana (sliced)
  • 1 cup grapes (halved)
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 cup mango (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons custard powder (vanilla flavor)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cream

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix custard powder with 3-4 tablespoons of milk until smooth and without lumps.
  2. Boil the remaining milk in a saucepan, then add the custard mixture while stirring continuously.
  3. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the custard thickens. Turn off the heat and let it cool completely.
  4. Once the custard is cool, add fresh cream and mix well until smooth.
  5. Add all the chopped fruits to the custard-cream mixture and mix gently.
  6. Chill the fruit bowl in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before serving.
  7. Garnish with some extra fruits or nuts if desired before serving.
