Description
This Creamy Turkey Gravy is rich, smooth, and full of savory flavor, perfect for drizzling over mashed potatoes, turkey, and stuffing. It’s made from turkey drippings and a touch of cream for extra richness.
Ingredients
- 2 cups turkey drippings or low-sodium chicken broth
 - 2 tablespoons butter
 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
 - 1/2 cup half-and-half or heavy cream
 - Salt to taste
 - Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
 - Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 to 2 minutes to form a roux.
 - Gradually pour in turkey drippings or broth, whisking constantly to prevent lumps.
 - Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes until thickened.
 - Stir in half-and-half or cream and continue to simmer for another 2 minutes.
 - Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
 - Serve warm over turkey, mashed potatoes, or stuffing.

Notes
- Use freshly made turkey drippings for best flavor.
 - If drippings are too salty, dilute with low-sodium chicken broth.
 - For a smoother texture, strain the gravy before serving.
