This Crispy Breaded Herb Tilapia is a quick and easy dinner option packed with flavor. With a crunchy herb-seasoned coating, it’s pan-fried to golden perfection and perfect for a family-friendly meal.
Ingredients
- 4 tilapia fillets (about 4–6 ounces each)
 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
 - 2 large eggs
 - 1 tablespoon water
 - 1 cup panko bread crumbs
 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
 - 1 teaspoon dried parsley
 - 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 1/4 teaspoon pepper
 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 - 3 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)

Instructions
- Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and set aside.
 - Place the flour in a shallow dish.
 - In another shallow dish, beat the eggs with 1 tablespoon of water.
 - In a third shallow dish, combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese.
 - Dip each tilapia fillet first in the flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the coating sticks.
 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
 - Carefully place the breaded tilapia fillets in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
 - Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

Notes
- Use fresh or thawed tilapia fillets for best results.
 - Don’t overcrowd the pan when frying—cook in batches if necessary.
 - Serve with lemon wedges or tartar sauce for extra flavor.
 - Leftovers can be stored in the fridge and reheated in the oven for crispiness.
