Description
Crispy Fried Chicken Tenders are juicy strips of chicken soaked in buttermilk, coated in seasoned flour, and deep-fried until golden and crunchy.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Place chicken tenders in a bowl and pour buttermilk over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk, letting excess drip off, and dredge in seasoned flour until fully coated.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the chicken tenders in batches for 5–6 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.

- Marinating overnight improves tenderness and flavor.
- Use a thermometer to maintain oil temperature for best results.
