Description

These Crispy Parmesan Broccoli Chips, also known as Smashed Broccoli, are a delicious and healthy snack or side dish. Roasted until golden and topped with parmesan, they’re crispy on the outside and tender inside.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of broccoli (or 2 small heads), cut into florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Steam the broccoli florets for about 3 minutes until just tender but still firm. Drain and let cool slightly.
  3. Spread the florets on the prepared baking sheet and gently flatten each with the bottom of a glass or jar.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the smashed broccoli.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy immediately for best texture.
