Ingredients
- 2 large pita breads
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the pita breads on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked chicken with oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Mix well.
- Spread the seasoned chicken evenly over the pita breads.
- Top with cherry tomatoes, red onion, and crumbled feta cheese.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the pita is crispy and the cheese is slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and top with fresh cucumber and parsley if desired.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker preparation.
- Add olives or a drizzle of tzatziki sauce for extra flavor.
- For extra crispiness, pre-bake the pita for 3–4 minutes before adding toppings.
