Ingredients

  • 2 large pita breads
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the pita breads on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cooked chicken with oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Mix well.
  4. Spread the seasoned chicken evenly over the pita breads.
  5. Top with cherry tomatoes, red onion, and crumbled feta cheese.
  6. Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the pita is crispy and the cheese is slightly golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with fresh cucumber and parsley if desired.
  8. Slice and serve warm.
