This Crockpot Beef Stroganoff is a creamy, comforting, and hearty dish made with tender beef, savory mushrooms, and a rich sour cream sauce, all slow-cooked to perfection and served over egg noodles.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs stew meat
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 12 oz egg noodles, cooked
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place stew meat in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the diced onion, onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
- Stir everything together to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the beef is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add cream cheese and sour cream to the crockpot. Stir until well combined and let it continue to cook until the mixture is creamy.
- Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
- Serve the stroganoff over the cooked noodles and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

- For extra flavor, sauté the onions before adding to the crockpot.
- Use full-fat dairy for a richer sauce.
