Ingredients
2 pounds beef stew meat or beef tips
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
1 packet onion soup mix
1 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper, to taste
4 cups egg noodles (or your choice of pasta)
Instructions
-
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Brown the beef stew meat or beef tips on all sides for about 5-7 minutes. Transfer the browned beef to the Crockpot.
-
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until softened. Transfer to the Crockpot.
-
In the Crockpot, combine the cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
-
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until the beef is tender.
-
About 30 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain the noodles and add them to the Crockpot. Stir to combine, allowing the noodles to absorb the sauce for the final 30 minutes.
-
Serve hot and enjoy!
