Description
An ultra-decadent chocolate dump cake layered with pudding, chocolate chips, hot fudge, whipped cream, and crushed Oreos — the ultimate dessert for chocolate lovers.
Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 (3.9 oz) box instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 ¾ cups milk
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 2 cups hot fudge sauce, warmed
- 2 cups whipped cream (or whipped topping)
- 1 cup crushed Oreos (or chocolate cookie crumbs)
- Additional chocolate chips and crushed cookies for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the cake mix, chocolate pudding mix, and milk until smooth.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Once cooled, poke holes throughout the cake using the end of a wooden spoon.
- Pour warm hot fudge sauce over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
- Spread whipped cream evenly over the top of the cake.
- Sprinkle crushed Oreos and additional chocolate chips on top for garnish.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
