Description
Delicious Strawberry Tiramisu is a refreshing twist on the classic Italian dessert, offering a fruity flavor that balances the rich and creamy layers of mascarpone, coffee-soaked ladyfingers, and fresh strawberries.
Ingredients
1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/2 cup sugar, divided
2 cups heavy whipping cream
8 oz mascarpone cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
24–30 ladyfinger cookies
1/2 cup brewed coffee, cooled
1 tablespoon cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries by slicing them and placing them in a bowl. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and stir to combine. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to release their juices.
 - In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with the remaining 1/4 cup sugar until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip.
 - Gently fold the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract into the whipped cream until fully combined, creating a smooth, creamy mixture.
 - In a shallow dish, pour the cooled coffee. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee, making sure not to soak them too long.
 - Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish or trifle bowl.
 - Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and top with half of the macerated strawberries.
 - Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and strawberries.
 - Finish by dusting the top with cocoa powder.
 - Refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to firm up.

Notes
- Can be made up to 24 hours ahead for optimal flavor.
 - Use gluten-free ladyfingers for a gluten-free version.
 - For a richer taste, drizzle melted chocolate between layers for a chocolate strawberry tiramisu variation.
 - For a vegan version, substitute mascarpone with a dairy-free version and use coconut cream instead of heavy cream.
 - Add a tablespoon of rum or amaretto to the coffee for an alcoholic version.
