Description

Warm and inviting, this pull-apart Dollywood Cinnamon Bread is tender, moist, and absolutely irresistible. Inspired by the famous theme park’s cinnamon bread, this quick and easy no-knead recipe always turns out perfect, even for the most inexperienced bakers.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • Topping:
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Roll out the thawed bread dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Brush the dough with 1/2 cup melted butter, then sprinkle evenly with 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon.
  4. Cut the dough into 2-inch strips. Stack the strips on top of each other and then cut the stack into 2-inch pieces.
  5. Loosely layer the pieces in the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
  7. While the bread bakes, prepare the topping by mixing 1/4 cup sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
  8. Remove the bread from the oven, brush with 1/2 cup melted butter, and immediately sprinkle with the sugar-cinnamon topping.
  9. Serve warm, ideally with a side of icing or whipped cream for dipping.
