Description

A creamy, cheesy chicken casserole layered with crushed Doritos, perfect for an easy and flavorful family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10-ounce) can Rotel (diced tomatoes and green chilies), drained
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 3 cups crushed Doritos (any flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, Rotel, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder. Stir until well combined.
  3. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spread half of the crushed Doritos evenly on the bottom.
  4. Pour the chicken mixture over the Doritos layer, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Top the casserole with the remaining crushed Doritos, then sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve hot and enjoy!
