Description

Doritos Pizza Rolls are a fun and delicious fusion of crunchy Doritos chips and cheesy pizza filling. Perfect for snacking or serving at parties.

Ingredients

1 bag of Doritos (nacho cheese or your preferred flavor)

1 cup pizza sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup mini pepperoni or diced vegetables (optional)

1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a blender or food processor, pulse the Doritos until they are crushed into fine crumbs. Transfer to a shallow bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the pizza sauce with the mozzarella cheese and any additional toppings like mini pepperoni or vegetables.
  4. Take small spoonfuls of the pizza mixture and place them on a piece of parchment paper or wax paper. Gently roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls or shapes.
  5. Roll each pizza roll in the crushed Doritos crumbs, making sure they are evenly coated.
  6. Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly brush the tops with olive oil to help them get extra crispy while baking.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden and crispy on the outside.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving with extra pizza sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

  1. For a vegetarian option, skip the pepperoni and add more veggies like bell peppers, mushrooms, or olives.
  2. To make it spicy, try using a spicy Doritos flavor or add jalapeños to the pizza filling.
  3. Use air fryer: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 7–10 minutes for an even crispier texture.
  4. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3–4 days.
  5. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes or use an air fryer.
