These rich and fudgy Dr Pepper Brownies are made without eggs or dairy, using soda to create a moist and delicious treat with a hint of cinnamon and chocolate chips.
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ⅔ cup cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 12 ounces Dr. Pepper (or 1 can)
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Dash of cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- Pour in the Dr Pepper and mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.
- Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can add nuts or replace chocolate chips with white chocolate for variation.
