Description

These rich and fudgy Dr Pepper Brownies are made without eggs or dairy, using soda to create a moist and delicious treat with a hint of cinnamon and chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ⅔ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 ounces Dr. Pepper (or 1 can)
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Dash of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. Pour in the Dr Pepper and mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.
  4. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the brownies cool in the pan for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can add nuts or replace chocolate chips with white chocolate for variation.
  • Let brownies cool completely for cleaner slices.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
