A creamy and aromatic chia pudding infused with Earl Grey tea, lightly sweetened with maple syrup for a comforting and elegant treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 2 bags earl grey tea
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, warm the milk with the Earl Grey tea bags. Once it begins to simmer, remove from heat and let the tea steep for up to 10 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and pour the infused milk into a bowl. Add chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla extract, then mix until well combined.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 5 to 10 minutes, then stir again to prevent clumping.
- Return to the fridge and let the pudding set for at least 2 to 3 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, stir well and add desired toppings such as chopped nuts, cocoa nibs, or berries.
Notes
- Use dairy-free milk like almond or oat milk for a vegan option.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup to taste.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Stir before serving to maintain a smooth texture.
