Description

These festive Easter Cake Mix Cookie Bars are soft, chewy, and packed with colorful Easter M&Ms and chocolate chips. An easy spring dessert that is perfect for sharing at holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Easter M&M candies
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the yellow cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until a soft dough forms.
  3. Fold in the Easter M&Ms and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  4. Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  6. Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing into 16 bars and serving.
