Ingredients
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
- Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese evenly over the pastry sheet.
- Roll the pastry tightly into a log, starting from one end.
- Slice the log into 1/2-inch thick pinwheels and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden and puffed, about 15–18 minutes.
- Cool slightly before serving.
