Description
A quick and tropical dessert featuring juicy pineapple slices caramelized in a sweet cinnamon-sugar coating using your air fryer.
Ingredients
Fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into uniform slices, rings, chunks, or spears (about 4 cups)
Light brown sugar (2–4 Tbsp)
Ground cinnamon (1 tsp)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
 - Cut the pineapple into evenly sized pieces for consistent caramelization.
 - Toss pineapple in a bowl with brown sugar and cinnamon until fully coated.
 - Arrange pieces in a single layer in the basket; lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray.
 - Air-fry for 6–8 minutes; flip each piece and cook another 6–8 minutes, until golden and caramelized (total 12–16 minutes).
 - Cool slightly and serve warm—delicious on its own or topped with ice cream, whipped cream, or yogurt.

Notes
- Use canned or frozen pineapple: Adjust cook time (frozen or canned needs less time, around 8–12 minutes).
 - Alternate sweeteners: Swap brown sugar for coconut sugar, maple sugar, maple syrup, or honey.
 - Spice it up: Add cardamom, cloves, all-spice, chili powder, or lime zest for extra flavor.
 - Maple-glazed version: Toss chunks in maple syrup and cinnamon instead of sugar for a vegan option.
 - Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4–5 days. Reheat using microwave, air fryer, or oven as desired.
