Flaky crescent rolls filled with a sweet berry cream cheese mixture and finished with a light vanilla glaze. A quick and delicious dessert perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or mixed; chopped if large)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: small amount of lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the berries, ensuring excess moisture is removed if using frozen fruit.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into individual triangles.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of filling at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll toward the narrow tip, tucking in the filling and sealing edges if needed.
- Arrange rolls on the baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze, then drizzle over slightly cooled rolls.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Add lemon zest for a brighter flavor, especially with blueberries.
- Pat berries dry thoroughly to avoid soggy filling.
- Best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- Reheat briefly in the oven for best texture.
