Description

Flaky crescent rolls filled with a sweet berry cream cheese mixture and finished with a light vanilla glaze. A quick and delicious dessert perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or mixed; chopped if large)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: small amount of lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the berries, ensuring excess moisture is removed if using frozen fruit.
  4. Unroll crescent dough and separate into individual triangles.
  5. Place about 1 tablespoon of filling at the wide end of each triangle.
  6. Roll toward the narrow tip, tucking in the filling and sealing edges if needed.
  7. Arrange rolls on the baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze, then drizzle over slightly cooled rolls.
  10. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Add lemon zest for a brighter flavor, especially with blueberries.
  • Pat berries dry thoroughly to avoid soggy filling.
  • Best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat briefly in the oven for best texture.
