Description
A delicate and floral rose latte that can be enjoyed hot or iced, naturally sweetened and beautifully pink. Quick to make and perfect for a cozy or refreshing drink.
Ingredients
- 1½ cups milk of choice (oat, almond, or soy milk)
- 2 tsp rose water
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2–3 tsp maple syrup
- ¼ tsp beet powder (for pink colour)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high for 10–15 seconds until fully combined. Alternatively, whisk ingredients together in a bowl.
- For a hot latte, pour mixture into a small saucepan and warm gently over low heat.
- Pour into a mug. If desired, add a shot of espresso before the milk mixture. Optionally garnish with rose petals.
- For an iced latte, pour the blended mixture directly over a glass of ice. Optionally garnish with rose petals.
Notes
- Adjust maple syrup to taste depending on desired sweetness.
- Use culinary-grade rose water to avoid overpowering flavor.
- Beet powder adds color but can be omitted if unavailable.
- Pairs well with espresso for a floral coffee twist.
- Best enjoyed fresh; stir before drinking if separation occurs.
