Description

A unique twist on the classic Italian dessert, this Pistachio Tiramisu blends the rich, nutty flavor of pistachios with creamy mascarpone and the familiar layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers for a show-stopping no-bake treat.


Ingredients

  • 250g mascarpone
  • 200ml double cream
  • 100g pistachio cream or paste
  • 2 tbsp icing sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200g ladyfingers (savoiardi)
  • 150ml strong espresso or coffee, cooled
  • 50g chopped pistachios (for layering and topping)
  • Optional: white chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together mascarpone, double cream, pistachio cream, icing sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and thickened.
  2. Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the cooled espresso and layer them in the base of your serving dish or glasses.
  3. Spoon a layer of the pistachio mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers and smooth the top.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios for texture and added flavor.
  5. Repeat the layers until you’ve used all the cream and ladyfingers, finishing with a layer of cream.
  6. Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  7. Before serving, top with extra chopped pistachios and optional white chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder.

  • Use high-quality pistachio cream for the best flavor.
  • This dessert can be made a day ahead, making it perfect for entertaining.
