Description

Creamy and rich Eggnog Hot Chocolate combines two holiday favorites into one warm, comforting drink that’s perfect for chilly nights and festive gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups eggnog
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
  • Nutmeg or cinnamon, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine eggnog and milk. Heat until just about to boil, stirring occasionally.
  2. Reduce heat to low and add chocolate chips. Stir constantly until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is smooth.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon, if desired.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can adjust the ratio of eggnog to milk depending on how rich you want the drink.
  • Dark chocolate chips can be used for a richer flavor.
  • For an adult version, consider adding a splash of rum or bourbon.
