Description

These Falooda Paan Shots are a refreshing Indian-inspired dessert drink layered with sabja seeds, vermicelli, creamy paan-flavored milk, and vanilla ice cream. Perfect for festive gatherings and quick party treats.

Ingredients

  • 6 paan leaves (betel leaves), chopped
  • 1 teaspoon saunf
  • 1 tablespoon gulkand
  • 1/2 teaspoon elaichi powder
  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 12 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 cup soaked sabja (sweet basil seeds)
  • 1/2 cup cooked vermicelli
  • 1/4 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1 tablespoon dried rose petals
  • 1 tablespoon crushed pista

Instructions

  1. Chop off the stalk and thickest part of the vein from the paan leaves to reduce bitterness, then roughly chop the leaves.
  2. Add the chopped paan leaves, saunf, gulkand, elaichi powder, vanilla ice cream, ice cubes, and milk to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add 2 teaspoons of soaked sabja seeds to each shot glass.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon of cooked vermicelli as the second layer.
  5. Fill each glass about 3/4 full with the prepared paan milk.
  6. Top with a teaspoon of vanilla ice cream and garnish with dried rose petals and crushed pista.
  7. Serve immediately chilled.

Notes

  • Adjust the milk quantity for a thinner or thicker consistency.
  • Serve immediately to maintain the texture of the ice cream and falooda layers.
  • You can chill the shot glasses beforehand for an extra refreshing dessert.
  • Rose syrup can be added for extra sweetness and flavor.
