Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 2 packs ramen noodles (instant or fresh)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1–2 tbsp chili paste or sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 2 soft-boiled eggs (optional, for topping)
- Red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and a little chili paste or sriracha.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest before slicing.
- In the same pan, add sesame oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir and bring to a simmer.
- Add soy sauce and more chili paste to taste. Let the sauce thicken slightly.
- Cook the ramen noodles according to package directions, then drain well.
- Add the cooked noodles to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
- Slice the rested chicken and serve over the noodles.
- Top with green onions, red pepper flakes, and soft-boiled eggs if using.
Notes
- Use tofu or mushrooms for a vegetarian version and replace chicken broth with vegetable broth.
- Adjust spiciness by increasing or decreasing chili paste or omitting red pepper flakes.
- Fresh ramen noodles elevate the dish but instant noodles work just as well.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat gently with a splash of broth.
