Description

These Fireball Cookies are soft, chewy, and bursting with bold cinnamon flavor thanks to the addition of Fireball Cinnamon Whisky. Perfect for adult gatherings or holiday parties, they offer a fun twist on classic cinnamon cookies.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
  • Optional: 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg or cayenne pepper
  • Optional: Cinnamon sugar for rolling
  • Optional: Glaze (1/2 cup powdered sugar + 1 tbsp Fireball Whisky)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and Fireball Whisky. Mix until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  6. If using, stir in nutmeg or cayenne pepper for added spice.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls.
  8. Optional: Roll each dough ball in cinnamon sugar for extra flavor and crunch.
  9. Place dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  10. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden and centers are set.
  11. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  12. Optional: Drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar and Fireball Whisky once cooled.

Notes

  • Use room temperature butter for easier mixing.
  • Adjust Fireball amount for stronger or milder flavor.
  • For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
  • To maintain softness, store with a slice of bread in the container.
