Ingredients
- 1 cup (240g) warm milk
 - 2 ¼ teaspoons (7g) active dry yeast
 - ⅓ cup (67g) granulated sugar
 - 2 large eggs (room temperature)
 - ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter (softened)
 - 4 ½ cups (560g) all-purpose flour
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - For the Filling:
 - ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter (softened)
 - 1 cup (200g) brown sugar
 - 2 ½ tablespoons ground cinnamon
 - For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
 - 4 ounces (113g) cream cheese (softened)
 - ¼ cup (57g) unsalted butter (softened)
 - ¾ cup (90g) powdered sugar
 - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
 
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
 - Add sugar, eggs, and softened butter. Mix until combined.
 - Add flour and salt. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
 - Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1–2 hours until doubled in size.
 - Roll the dough into a rectangle (about 16×12 inches).
 - Spread softened butter over the dough. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over the buttered dough.
 - Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 equal pieces.
 - Place rolls in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan. Cover and let rise again for 30–45 minutes until puffy.
 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
 - While baking, make the frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth, then mix in powdered sugar and vanilla.
 - Let rolls cool slightly before spreading frosting over the top. Serve warm.
