Ingredients
- 1 loaf of French bread
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) Manwich Sloppy Joe sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the Sloppy Joe sauce to the cooked meat and stir to combine. Simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
- Cut the French bread in half lengthwise and place both halves on a baking sheet.
- Optional: Sprinkle garlic powder over the bread for extra flavor.
- Spoon the Sloppy Joe mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
