Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Ranch dressing (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and the third with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dip each mushroom slice into the flour, followed by the beaten eggs, and then coat it thoroughly in the seasoned breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the breaded mushroom slices in batches, avoiding overcrowding the pan.
  4. Fry each mushroom for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  5. Serve the fried mushrooms hot with ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
