Ingredients

  • 1 lb. cod fillets
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  3. Remove the butter from heat and stir in the lemon juice, paprika, cayenne (if using), salt, and pepper.
