Description

Tender, flaky salmon fillets baked in a rich garlic butter sauce infused with fresh herbs and zesty lemon. Quick, easy, and healthy meal perfect for weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet, spaced apart.
  4. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  5. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Stir in parsley, lemon juice, lemon zest, dried thyme, and dried rosemary; cook 1 more minute.
  7. Remove from heat and pour garlic butter mixture evenly over salmon fillets.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  10. Remove from oven and let rest 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute Italian seasoning for rosemary and thyme if desired.
  • Add smoked paprika or cayenne pepper for a smoky heat twist.
  • Use lime juice instead of lemon juice for a citrus variation.
  • Fresh dill or basil can be added for extra herbal flavor.
  • Serve alongside roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container refrigerated up to 2 days; reheat gently.
