Description

Garlic Butter Grilled Shrimp is a simple and flavorful dish made with juicy shrimp marinated in a garlic, butter, lemon, and herb mixture, then grilled to perfection. Perfect for summer cookouts or a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Place shrimp in a large bowl and pour the garlic butter mixture over them. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Thread shrimp onto skewers, if using, for easier grilling.
  5. Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque.
  6. Remove from grill and serve with extra lemon wedges and a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired.

Notes
