Ingredients
- 2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Place shrimp in a large bowl and pour the garlic butter mixture over them. Toss to coat evenly.
- Thread shrimp onto skewers, if using, for easier grilling.
- Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque.
- Remove from grill and serve with extra lemon wedges and a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- Can be served over rice, salad, or with grilled vegetables for a full meal.
