Description
These Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bites are juicy, tender chunks of chicken coated in a buttery garlic-parmesan sauce. They’re quick to make and perfect as an appetizer, snack, or main dish.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the flour in a bowl and dredge the chicken pieces in the flour, shaking off any excess.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in a single layer and cook until golden and cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes per side. You may need to cook in batches. Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the skillet. Once melted, add the garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley (if using). Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken thighs for a juicier result.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to control the spice level.
- Serve with a side of rice, pasta, or a green salad for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
