Description

Sweet medjool dates stuffed with creamy goat cheese and topped with crunchy nuts and a drizzle of warm honey. A simple and elegant appetizer perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 18 to 20 medjool dates
  • 4 ounces goat cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts (or pistachios or nut of choice)
  • Warmed honey

Instructions

  1. Cut the medjool dates in half length-wise, leaving them partially intact on the backside so they open like a book. Remove the pits.
  2. Spread softened goat cheese into each date.
  3. Top with chopped walnuts and gently press them into the filling. Lightly close each date to hold the filling in place.
  4. Drizzle with warmed honey and serve.

Notes

  • Swap walnuts with pistachios, almonds, or pecans for different flavors.
  • Serve slightly chilled or at room temperature for best texture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of sea salt before serving.
