Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth and combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well blended.
- Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the butterscotch chips evenly.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
- Let the blondies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
