This Ground Beef Taco Salad is a quick, easy, and flavorful meal perfect for busy weeknights. Loaded with seasoned beef, fresh vegetables, cheese, and crunchy chips, it’s a family favorite that’s both satisfying and customizable.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
 - 1 oz taco seasoning mix
 - ¾ cup water
 - 6 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
 - 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
 - 1 cup canned corn, drained
 - 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
 - 1 avocado, diced
 - ½ cup Catalina or French dressing
 - 1 cup tortilla chips, crushed
 
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
 - Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet with the beef. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
 - In a large salad bowl, add chopped romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, corn, black beans, avocado, and shredded cheese.
 - Add the slightly cooled taco meat on top of the salad ingredients.
 - Drizzle with Catalina or French dressing and toss to combine.
 - Top with crushed tortilla chips just before serving for extra crunch.
