Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 small onion (finely diced)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ¾ cup chicken broth (low sodium)
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- 12 to 15 corn tortillas (white or yellow)

Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat and add the diced onions. Saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the salt and minced garlic and saute for another minute.
- Add the ground turkey and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula or wooden spoon.
- Add the taco seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, and dried oregano. Mix to combine.
- Add the chicken broth and tomato sauce to the skillet.
- Stir well, reduce heat to medium-low, and let simmer for 4 to 5 minutes until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
- Meanwhile, warm the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp towel and microwaving for 60 seconds, or wrap in foil and bake for 10 minutes.
- Serve the turkey mixture in warm tortillas and top with shredded lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, or desired toppings.
